The Combat Paper Project is an art exhibit where war veterans turn their combat-worn uniforms and U.S. flags into paper, and use that paper to create their reflections on the anger of the past and the hope for the future. The uniforms are cut up, beat and formed into sheets of paper. The Combat Paper Project is a collaboration initiated by Drew Matott and Drew Cameron, involving war veterans, activists and artists. The project is on exhibit at the Burlington City Arts Firehouse Gallery on Church Street in Burlington until April 11.
