For a group of Girl Scouts from Williston and Essex, raising $20,000 to sponsor a land mine-seeking dog was not enough. Just less than a year after their original idea took shape, the girls have decided to continue their efforts towards raising an additional $6,000 to pay for the medical expenses of a Bosnian teenager who lost a leg to a land mine.(Read more)
