You might want to bookmark this page. Right now you are still fascinated by the versatility of the Knight Card and entranced by the magic of no parental supervision. As far as you're concerned, Purple Knights is your ticket to off-campus flavor, and there's nothing wrong with that.

But sooner or later you will realize that St. Michael's College won't always mirror the overzealous students that appear in the glossy brochures sent to your parents. So I have prepared a brief guide to nine popular downtown destinations.

The non-profit organization has championed safer paths for bikers and walkers since 1999. Rent a bike or try on some roller blades and coast through miles of paved waterfront paths. A wall of pamphlets advertises a variety of walking, hiking, and cycling destinations and activities.
